Shaggy Brings Jeremih, Rick Ross & Skillibeng Together for “Lottery 4.0”

Shaggy brings reggae, dancehall, R&B and hip-hop together on “Lottery 4.0,” an expanded version of his track “Lottery” featuring Jeremih, Rick Ross and Skillibeng. The collaboration pairs four artists from different corners of contemporary music on one record, with each bringing a different vocal style to the track.

The original “Lottery” featuring Jeremih appears on Shaggy’s 2026 album of the same name. Released in May through Ranch Entertainment and VP Music Group, the 13-track album moves between reggae, dancehall, R&B and pop and includes collaborations with artists such as Akon, Robin Thicke, Sting, Anthony Hamilton, Beres Hammond and Dexta Daps. 

On “Lottery,” Shaggy uses the idea of hitting the lottery as a relationship metaphor, with the song focusing on attraction and making a woman feel valued. Jeremih adds an R&B presence to the original, including a patois-influenced delivery that fits alongside Shaggy’s Jamaican sound. 

“Lottery 4.0” expands that concept by adding Rick Ross and Skillibeng to the lineup. Ross brings the hip-hop side of the collaboration, while Jamaican dancehall artist Skillibeng adds another connection to the record’s Caribbean foundation. Alongside Shaggy and Jeremih, the four-artist lineup turns the remix into a cross-genre version of the original.

The release also continues a career built around musical crossover for Shaggy. His Lottery album reflects that approach throughout, bringing Jamaican music traditions together with contemporary R&B, pop and other global influences.
