Hot Take: Kennie J.D. Reacts to Netflix’s “Worst Neighbor Ever”

In “NETFLIX WORST NEIGHBOR EVER HAS BROKEN ME,” YouTube creator Kennie J.D. reacts to all four episodes of Netflix’s true-crime series Worst Neighbor Ever.

Produced by Blumhouse, the series follows Worst Roommate Ever and Worst Ex Ever. This time, the stories focus on ordinary people whose lives became dangerous because of someone living nearby.

Kennie explains why these cases feel especially unsettling. A bad roommate or former partner is someone a person chose to bring into their life, but a neighbor can be a complete stranger. Moving into the wrong house or apartment can place someone next to a person capable of harassment, fraud, violence or murder.

Throughout the video, Kennie walks viewers through stories involving stalking, racist harassment, property disputes, threats, financial scams and deadly attacks. She also discusses cases in which victims repeatedly contacted law enforcement but did not receive meaningful help until it was too late.

One story involving a pregnant woman and her husband becomes especially emotional for Kennie. The couple reported their neighbor’s threats and attacks several times, but the danger continued. Kennie uses the case to question what restraining orders and police reports mean when authorities fail to act before someone is harmed.

The final case takes the story in a different direction, involving a missing older man, a large estate and a neighbor accused of taking control of his money through false documents and a series of lies.

Kennie brings humor and personality to the recap, but she does not ignore the victims or the painful parts of their stories. She also warns viewers that the discussion includes murder, racism, domestic violence and other disturbing subjects.
